The scene in this card is so peaceful...
the name of the stamp set is so appropriate.
I love to be able to just sit and enjoy the beauty around me.
(that is when and if the cat ever moves)

I paper pieced the pillow on the chair using the same Designer print as on the card.

Accessories & Embellishments:  Watercolor Crayons, Blender Pen and Aqua Painter, (I always use a blender pen for small areas and an Aqua Painter for the larger areas, then I go back and use the blender pen to add detail.) 1-3/8 square punch, Orchard Ribbon Originals, Brad from the Styled Silver Hodge Podge Hardware, Stampin' Dimensionals.

Remember sunshiny girlhood days of walking barefoot in the green grass and picking wildflowers? Invite the feeling and atmosphere of those carefree, quiet moments with images from this stamp set. They’re the perfect friends for the special, bright-eyed girls in your life. This set is part of Shelli's Signature Collection

This is such a sweet stamp set...I love working with these little girls! 

All images have been stamped on Watercolor paper with Staz-on ink and colored in using watercolor crayons with a blender pen.

This card uses papers from the Sweet Nothing's Simply Scrappin" Kit found on page 164 of the 2009 Spring~Summer Catalog.

Accessories and Embellishments used:  Flower fusion, silk flowers from the Pretties Kit, clear rhinestone brad, scallop circle die and big shot, circle scissors, watercolor crayons and blender pen.

Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Sweet Slumber DSP
Watercolor Paper
Ink Pads: Jet Black Staz-on
Embellishments and Accessories: Ribbon Originals ~ Valet,
Paper Piercing Tool, Mat Pack, Scallop Edge Punch,
Watercolor Crayons, Blender Pen, Dimensionals



Patchwork with the Top Note Die......

I love this technique!  Start with a piece of cardstock 5"x 3-3/4".
Using the 1-1/4" square punch, punch 12 squares from various printed papers.
Use the 2 way glue pen to adhere the squares to the larger cardstock. (This way the corners won't lift once the piece has been die cut.  Line the "quilt square" upside down on the Top Note Die, pay close attention to the points, the measurements are close.
With a Stampin' Write Marker, make small "x" stitching lines.  I went over the dotted out line with the marker as well.
On this quilt square, I put it through the big shot once more with a texturz die, to give it a little more of a "quilt" look.
