And as always, with a new catalog, we always have to say goodbye to some old favorites to make room for some new favorites!

Here is the list of retiring items -- there are hundreds of stamps and accessories from the 2012-2013 catalog, and this is your last chance to get them before they're gone.

Many products are only available while supplies last, so be sure to get your orders in early!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Last week I hosted a 'shoebox swap' for my the ladies in my Downline.

We have such a talented and creative group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators!

Michelle Haney designed this Valentine treat around a box of Conversation Hearts for each of us to make.

Stampin' Up - Cross my heart stamp set

My beautiful grandma....

 

My sweet Grandma Carrie went home to be with Jesus yesterday morning.  She was 102.  What a beautiful woman, mom and grandma she was.

Our memory making days with her have come to an end...but we have so many beautiful memories that will continue to live in our hearts forever.

I have tears of sadness, because I will miss her.  I have tears for my mom, because there is nothing quite like the love between a mother and a daughter. But mostly my tears are of joy for her because she is in the presence of her Lord and she is able to walk barefoot in the heavenly gardens. 

Grandma loved the flowers in her yard.  The picture I always have whenever she comes to mind is of her out in her yard barefoot, either working with her flowers or hanging clothes out on the line.  I loved to sit and listen to her tell stories of her childhood and the days of early married life and young motherhood.  She had such a sense of humor -- and such a gentle spirit, however, if you can believe the stories she told, you never wanted to find yourself on the wrong end of her stick!  :)  Yes, I will truly miss my grandma and hearing her talk about the things that she loved and things that were important to her.

There was never any doubt that she loved her family and was very proud of each and every one.  Her face would light up whenever she would talk about anyone of her 19 grandchildren or her many, great-grand children. 

Grandma Carrie you are so loved and we are better for having had you in our lives.  Someday we'll be together again.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLEACHING TECHNIQUE

 

Using a small watercolor brush with just a bit of bleach Michelle colored parts of the animals.  You can end the bleaching process by drying with the heat tool if you want just a touch of a lighter color, or just leave it to dry on its own.

Stampin' With Style It's All About the Wraping!

Every year the demonstrators in my downline get the chance to express themselves in their creative masterpieces! 

In our "It's All About the Wrap!" gift exchange, demonstrators are encouraged to come up with the most creative way to wrap their gift. 

It's always fun to see all the creative and unique boxes, bags and cards that wind up under the Christmas Tree! 

Here are a few of these amazingly wrapped gifts.

Serena was happy to be able to open this one and find a gift card!

Here's a cute Gift Card Holder Tied with our Holiday 1/4 Sweater Trim Ribbon

 A Christmas Tree made out of Hershey Kisses with cute little stamped and punched ornaments and curled paper streamers, I'm sure Michelle's children were excited to see their mommy come home with this!

 This gift was wrapped with 4 sheets of Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper. Tied on both ends to look like a tootsie roll with an Ornament attached to the center like a bow. WOW! What a beautifully wrapped gift!

Evelyn loved the socks that were inside as well!
