June Card Buffet...

Wow...June is sneaking up on us very quickly!! 

Just a few more days before our new catalog begins!

For all of you who are attending my Card Buffet this Saturday --here is a quick peek at what we'll be doing. 

If you'd like to pre-order your cards you may do so by sending me an e-mail with the card number and the quantity of the card you would like to do.

There will be one 3-D item available to do....often times a 3-D item would count for 2 projects.  However, in this case it just counts for 1 project.  It's a small box made using the 2-Tags Big Shot Die....you'll be suprised and how fast and easy it is to make!

Christmas Mega Stampin'!

So you thought you would have your Christmas cards all finished by now...... okay, I know that some of you actually do!    But if you're like me, you haven't begun them yet, and this class is for you!

If you're planning to come to my 'Mega Stampin' Christmas Card' class, here are your choices.  There are 21 cards for you to choose from.

It's been requested that I offer a few non-Christmas cards as well. 

So you asked and I listened!  (smile). 

You'll have the opportunity to stamp 30 cards, complete with envelopes.  Lunch is included as well!  If you live in the Sacramento, CA area and would like to come, just leave me a comment at the end of this post and I'll be happy to send you all the details!

Patriots Day Gift Boxes

A very special recognition for a very special group of people.

My daughter's teacher asked me to make up some gift boxes for veterans who would be attending their Patriots Day Celebration.  Here's what I came up with.

I made up 12 boxes and put just a few little goodies and treats inside.  I tied the cellophane bags with a wired ribbon and stuck a small American Flag in the bow.

I made post it note holders using square coasters and binder clips that I had covered with Patriotic Papers.  I found some Hershey Kisses in blue and silver star wrappers for Veteran's Day.  I made little baggy toppers.

 

I made covers for the popcorn bags to coordinate with everything in the gift boxes.

 

The tags were made using the 2-tag die and the big shot.

This was such a fun project to put together!

Sweet Summer....Simply Cased

Card #6 -- Sweet Summer

I love the sweet simplicity of this card.  It is completely cased (will almost) from Chat Wszelaki - I love her style. 

The colors of this card are Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.

Okay, I'm a little late with these few more cards.....but better late than not at all, right!?

Card #10 -- Bugs & Kisses!

This is a fun little card for kids....big or little!  You can easily make it a happy birthday card, or there's a cute little stamp in the set that says 'Cute As A Bug' 

Colors are Real Red, Old Olive, Pacific Point and Whisper White

Card # 11 -Amour

We did this card at our Catalog Kick-off back in August....it's such a nice card, I thought it would be worth adding here.  Simple but classy!  :)

Colors are Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizzaz and Very Vanilla

I love the way this card turned out....I saw the color scheme somewhere else and used my own layout and went with it.  So much fun!!

Colors are Poppy Parade, Basic Black, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.

Card #14 -- Happy Birthday (Butterflies)

 
Cute and simple card to make!!  Stamp with any greeting you like, to make this card work for any occasion.

I love the look of the ruched poly twill.  It's very simple to do by ahereing sticky strip onto the back of it. 

The colors on this card are Concord Crush, So Saffron and Old Olive.

Card #15 -- Happy Birthday!

This is one of those "Fun to Make" cards.  It has a little be of everything....a little bit coloring, a little bit of punching, a little bit of dry embossing, a little bit of glitter.....

The colors are Pacific Point, Real Red and Whisper White.  (Although it has a little bit of Bashful Blue and Old Olive in the coloring.)

Card # 16 -- thank you for being you.

I saw this idea somewhere, I made a few little changes to make it a little easier to do in a class.  The button in the center of the large flower is a stamped piece of cardstock.  I added crystal effects to make it shiny.  I think it helps it to pop just a little more.

The colors are Melon Mambo (one of my favorites!), Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive.

Card #17 -- Happy Birthday - Masculine

Masculine cards seem to be a bit of challenge for many of us....This is a very simple layout and can be easily changed by using different colors or stamps.

The colors are Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive.  (I seem to have an Old Olive thing going on here -- what would I do without that color!)

Card #18 - Fabulous Friend

 

I'm loving the "Quilt" look that everyone has been doing with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. This card uses the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper found in Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Mini Catalog.  This is perfect paper for this type of look!

The colors are Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake (beautiful combination!)

BUSY - BUSY - BUSY!!!  That seems to be the story of my life! 

This week I'm preparing for my semi annual MEGA Stampin' Class, which is coming up on Saturday, March 12th.  I'll be posting several cards a day between now and Thursday in preparation for those of you planning to attend.   Enjoy todays selection!

 Card #1 -- Happy Birthday Cupcake

This cute birthday card was made using the Create a Cupcake Stamp Set and the Build A Cupcake Punch from Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Mini Catalog.

The colors are Real Red and Old Olive.  I've accented with the Celebrations Designer Series Paper and Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon.

Card #2 -- Vintage Vogue

This Birthday card can easily be turned in a Mother's Day, Thank-you or whatever occasion you might need by changing the greeting.  You may also choose to leave the greeting off until you have a need for the card, then you'll know what to stamp on it!

The colors are Concord Crush and Pear Pizzaz.  The Designer Series Paper is in our 6x6 Hostess Pack.  It's a little hard to see in the picture, the centers of the flowers have a little "bling".  I used the small Basic Rhinestones from Stampin' Up!.  If you choose to do this card for my Mega Stampin' Class, you'll have a variety in colors.

Card #3 -- Friend to Friend Owl Punch

 

I love our Owl Punch!  There's very little stamping on this card.  It's a lot of to put together....there are quite a few steps to building the owls, but so much fun!!  Once again, there are lots of choices for the greeting inside the little word window.

The colors are Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Real Red.

Card #4 -- Bliss (Butterfly)

This is a very elegant card and can be used for just about any occasion

....I saw a card similar to this somewhere (don't remember where) This is my version. The colors are Basic Black, Whisper White and Real Red.  The butterfly has a row of small pearls in the center.  The stamped panel is framed using our Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Card #5 -- Friends 24-7

This is a very nice card that I cased from another very talented demonstrator.  It would be a nice masculine card by changing the "Friends" to a Happy Birthday, or Happy Father's Day. 

The colors are Crumb Cake and Marina Mist.  A very quick and simple card to make!
